Our first collaboration with Unyoked saw Sycco immersing herself in wilderness locations across the East Coast to reset after a chaotic 2020 and find creative inspiration. During her multiple nature sessions, Sash cooked over an open fire, woke up with the sun and started sketching out the lyrics for her new take on Sleepless, one of labelmate Flume’s earliest releases.

“Escaping out into nature is so special because it reminded me that I’m just a little speck in the universe, just doing my own thing,” she says. “ I think everyone should experience it. You’re so disconnected and you realise how simple things could be and how happy you are just doing simple things.” Listen closely to hear the sounds and soul of the great outdoors in this very special version of one of fc’s undeniable classics.
